1. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, & MOMENT OF SILENCE

Mayor Tim Meerbott called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.  Town Clerk Mauricio Melinu called the roll.  Mayor Meerbott led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Site Plan Application-A & E Partners Holding, LLC

Community Development Director Dr. Jared Munster provided background information on the application.

Attorney Miguel Diaz de la Portilla with Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. and Architect Eric Valle with Valle Valle & Partners provided a presentation about the project on behalf of the applicant, A & E Partners Holding, LLC.

There was discussion on the availability of public parking in the proposed site plan, the impact of the site plan on the trees currently located on the property, maintaining the integrity of the amount of greenspace promised in the renderings presented, the legality of crossing US-1 on a golf cart, the possibility of the Town being able to use the property for its Active Adults Program activities and events, and the possibility of setting aside a percentage of work force housing for active military personnel.

Site Plan Application-R.T.G. Furniture Corp (Rooms to Go Furniture)

Community Development Director Dr. Jared Munster provided background information on the application.

Attorney Graham Penn with Bercow Radell Fernandez Larkin & Tapanes, PLLC provided a presentation about the project on behalf of the applicant, R.T.G. Furniture Corporation.

There was discussion on the possibility of minimizing the number of variance requests associated with this project.
